Hi!

Wie die meisten von euch wissen, gehen wir bald wieder auf Tour und haben bereits Termine für den Herbst angekündigt. Leider musste ich nun die schwierige Entscheidung treffen, unsere Europatournee auf März 2026 zu verschieben. Es tut mir unendlich leid, falls euch dadurch Unannehmlichkeiten entstehen, aber es gab gute Gründe für diesen Schritt

Einer der Hauptgründe ist die Zeit: Ich hätte euch die Musik, an der ich im letzten Jahr gearbeitet habe, nicht wie gewünscht präsentieren können. Die neuen Songs wären leider nicht bis Oktober fertig geworden. Es ist mir unglaublich wichtig, mir die nötige Zeit dafür zu nehmen und diesen kreativen Prozess nicht zu überstürzen. Ich möchte eine Tour spielen, auf die ich stolz bin, und mich dabei auf der Bühne absolut wohlfühlen. Aber vor allem möchte ich diese neuen Songs live für euch spielen – und das wäre im Oktober einfach nicht möglich gewesen.

Alle bereits gekauften Tickets behalten selbstverständlich ihre Gültigkeit für die neuen Termine im März! Nochmals, es tut mir wirklich leid, aber eure Unterstützung und Geduld bedeuten mir sehr viel. Ich bin so dankbar, dass ich weiterhin für euch schreiben und auftreten kann. Ich freue mich riesig darauf, das nächste Kapitel mit euch zu teilen, und verspreche, mein Bestes zu geben ❤️

Alice Merton has undeniably become known as the girl with no roots. Born in Germany and raised in Canada and England, Alice’s songs always talked about celebrating life as a nomad, and making a home wherever you want it to be. Since her debut „No Roots“, which came out in 2016, the last couple of years could fill an entire career: A billion streams, Top 10 charts across Europe, playing Coachella, 8x Platinum, US-Gold, and the release of two studio albums MINT and S.I.D.E.S. All done independent, everything homemade!
Alice’s latest chapter began in 2024 with the release of Heron. In this EP her thoughts turn inwards, and instead of finding a home in the outside world, she went on an internal journey of feeling lost on the inside and asking the question of all questions: who am I supposed to be, and how well do you know yourself at all?
It questions one’s own happiness, in a world where we are constantly influenced by other people’s opinions on what happiness is for them, especially through social media. It’s become almost impossible to filter out the noise and truly ask ourselves “What is it that we really want out of this life, and how well do we actually know ourselves at all? Can we independently find happiness without being bombarded by everyone else’s definition of what they think happiness is?“
All these questions are part of Heron, a name Alice decided on after landing yet again in a new city, and observing these elegant birds in the middle of London-Barbican, an unusual place you would think for such a bird, grazing away at midnight.
And now, Alice Merton is entering an exciting new chapter. After an US headline tour and a summer filled with major European festivals in 2024, she’s heading back on the road this summer and fall — with a return to cities and countries she hasn’t played in for years.
The tour kicks off in Canada this September, including long-awaited shows in Toronto, Montreal and Québec City, before continuing through Europe in October and November — with stops in Munich, Berlin, Prague, Milan, Paris and more.
This new run of shows promises not only a journey through all of Alice’s fan favourites from No Roots to Heron, but also new music. Alice is ready to share the next evolution of her sound and story with audiences around the world.
