Swedish rock duo Johnossi are back with new single “San Antonio”, a fall album
and a German tour
Today 24th May, acclaimed Swedish rock duo Johnossi release their new single “San Antonio” (Universal Music Sweden). The first music from a forthcoming album due for release in September. During winter 2025 the band are back in Germany for their first proper tour in many years.
The single with its build up verses leading into a quite epic chorus is being described by the band:
Every street corner in each city has its own story. A close friend of ours witnessed something very dramatic in an American major city. This story mixed with our own experiences and some imagination gave life to the drama in this song.
The single is written together with their longtime keyboard player Mattias Franzén. Produced by respected Swedish producer Måns Lundberg (Håkan Hellström, Deportees etc).
Currently being in the studio finalizing the album, Johnossi also announce a seven dates long German tour during winter 2025. It´s their first proper German tour in many years. They only did a handful delayed post covid dates in June 2022 including Tempelhof Sounds Festival in Berlin. So it´s about time the duo bring back their explosive live shows.

A great feeling is starting to approach us now here in the studio. To simultaneously look forward to playing these new songs live on upcoming touring. We´re very excited to say the least and have been longing to come back to Germany for some time now!
